Meet the Team

Dale serves as our Senior Pastor and Wendy as our Women’s Pastor. They joined Springwood Church of Christ in 2020 after more than two decades of ministry at HumeRidge Church of Christ in Toowoomba.

Dale is passionate about leadership, preaching, pastoral care, and worship ministry. He has also served in leadership roles within the wider church community, including with Churches of Christ Queensland, the Global Leadership Network Australia, and ACOM.

Wendy has a background in Occupational Therapy and is committed to supporting women through pastoral care, leadership development, and helping women grow in their relationship with Jesus and experience God's love. Dale and Wendy have been married since 1984 and have three adult children. Together, they are passionate about seeing people grow in faith, discover their gifts, and become active disciples of Jesus.

Eva has served as our Children & Families Coordinator (part time) since 2022. Even prior to this Eva had been involved as a volunteer for many years with us, and has been attending Springwood Church of Christ since she was 8 years old. Eva is married to Mark with 3 beautiful children and has a passion to see people coming to know the Lord. Eva leads our Community Playgroup each Tuesday, runs our ‘One Way’ Sunday School program each Sunday, and organises special family activities and courses.  She has a very invitational approach to discipleship and loves seeing children, families and marriages shine God’s love.

Hayley has served as our Youth & Young Adults Pastor (part-time) since 2024. She provides spiritual leadership to the church with a particular passion for helping young people grow as lifelong disciples of Jesus.  Her ministry focuses on building meaningful relationships with young people, creating opportunities for them to connect, belong, and deepen their faith. Hayley oversees and coordinates the church’s youth and young adults ministries, leads and develops volunteer teams, and helps young people engage with God's Word in relevant and practical ways.

In addition to her work with youth and young adults, Hayley is actively involved in the worship life of the church, regularly leading worship and helping coordinate and lead our evening services. She has a heart for seeing people of all ages encounter God through worship, community, and discipleship. Hayley brings energy, creativity, and a genuine love for people to her ministry, and is committed to helping the next generation discover their identity in Christ and live out their faith with confidence and purpose.

David has been a valued member of the Springwood Church of Christ staff team since 2016. In his role as Property and Maintenance Officer, he works diligently to ensure that our buildings and grounds are well cared for, creating a welcoming environment for our church family and community. David also serves as our Springlife Coordinator, overseeing facility bookings and venue hires. In this role, he helps connect community groups and organisations with our facilities, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. David is married to Jenny, and together they have four adult children.
