Nominations are being called for persons
to be considered for Eldership.

The Nominations Committee are receiving submissions of names of suitable persons to be considered for election to the position of Elder according to the provisions for election to Eldership in the Constitution (dated 27.8.2017).
The Nominations Committee has been appointed as Jake Owen, Lyn Culverhouse and Robin Evans. Nominations will be received by this Committee and close at 6pm on Sunday, 21st June. (Voting will then commence after that.)
Prior to making your nomination please consider the following (excerpt from Section 8, 2017 Constitution).
Biblically, Elders are shepherds who oversee the church. As shepherds, their leadership role includes feeding the church spiritually, caring for the people especially the sick, guiding the church from dangers and watching over the church to be aware of their health and potential risks.
Their overall purpose is to lead believers to participate in the mission of God.
Elders are individually and collectively accountable for the Church and Ministry activities.
Elders must be a current member of the church.
New nominees must undergo a criminal history check prior to election.
A Nominations Committee will manage the appointment of Elders.
Elders are appointed by a Special Resolution conducted via a postal ballot.
